While staying in Fez I met many people who are much more interested in Gnawa, hip hop and different types of West African music than they are in Andalusian music. This is very interesting and I will get in to it more later. I befriended a couple of guys that work at the Arabic Language Institute in Fez (ALIF) who have a band called Boohalee.
